Heritage Open Days
As part of the nationwide initiative organised by the Civic Trust and English Heritage,
St. Leonard's Church will be open to visitors from
11am to 4pm on:-
Thursday September 11th
Friday September 12th
Saturday September 13th
Sunday September 14th
Open Day Features.

Exhibitions by Mums & Toddlers, Padiham Green School, St. Leonard's School, Brownies & Rainbows.

Display of Photographs from church life.

Children's Colouring Competition: ages 5-9 (small prize).

Explorers' Quizzes - just for fun.

Historical Guide to St. Leonard's Church.

Organists playing periodically during Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

"Victorian Sunday School" on Saturday 2pm - 2.30pm (with
St. Leonard's Sunday School Pupils and friends).

Listen to the Bells on Saturday afternoon 3.30 to 5pm approx.

Escorted visits to the Bell Tower on Sunday 2-4pm.
Admission is free so please come and look around.
Make it part of a day out in the Padiham area or, if you live
locally, just drop in when you can.
Refreshments will be on sale in the Green Room, where you will
be able to relax and chat in pleasant surroundings.
St. Leonard's is situated near the mini-roundabout where
Church Street, Moor Lane and Burnley Road meet with
free
parking close by on the Church Street and Ightenhill Street
car parks.
